Roma Reels Kick-Off Meeting: Laying the Foundations for Remembrance
On 17 September, the online kick-off meeting of the new European project Flashbacks of Forgotten Crimes – Roma Reels took place, with CUBE acting as project coordinator.
Together with our partners from Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania and Bulgaria, we laid the groundwork for the project: planning the first steps, defining the research framework, and agreeing on the ethical principles for collecting testimonies and archival material related to the Holocaust and genocide of the Roma, from the Second World War to the present day.
